Aly has been an instructor of multiple disciplines for the past 20 years, and has received trainings in instruction through various performing arts institutions, academic institutions (like the Princeton Review), and governmental institutions (the Paxen Group, a Department of Defense contractor). Through his knack to deliver results, he picked to be trained and instruct teachers on how to be more effective in the classroom. These certifications, along with the educator trainings along the way, are not to be taken lightly as equal to experience.
Teacher: 15 years’ experience in teaching European Folk dances, Ballet, Contemporary, Lyrical, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Toning, Acting, Voice, Auditioning, and many other aspects of performing arts. Aly also taught 3rd grade and 9th-12th grade Math & English for the Princeton Review in New York City. He was also a teacher for several of the Paxen Group programs in the state of Hawaii in job readiness, life coping, and decision making skills.
Founder of three education based companies (Sierra Ballet Theater Company, Student Dance Organization of LIU CWPost, and the Visions Conservatory of Dance & Theater). Certification in "Train the Trainer," where he trained many of the Hawaii-based educators for the Department of Defense life coping, decision making, and job readiness programs.

Vocal Coach
He was trained in Opera, Pop, and Musical Theater singing, voice production and speech, breathing technique, and music theory.
Aly was trained at Long Island University, the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, and under Marla Waterman, Mary Feeney, Rick Hip-Florres, Chris Neher, Angela Echard, Nancy Sacklad, Rod Hearn, Cathy Hearn, Darren Cohen, Thomas Morrisey, Jay Dias, Robin Clark, David Caldwell, and Casey Colgan. He teaches how to use your voice muscularly, with back breathing, muscle release technique, mental calmness association, and pitch-muscle relation memory technique.
He was musical director for Tony 'N Tina's Hawaiian Wedding and the Alleged Adventures of Blenderman, while arranging pieces for many musicals and performer’s auditions.
Since, he trains singers in safe Pop singing (so to last longer without injury but still having the roughness and power of a rock star). He also teaches beginning through intermediate classical technique and beginning through advanced musical theater singing. He understands the voice's different elements (Belt, Mix, and Head Voice).

Ballet Master
Aly was a soloist at 18 years old, loving the ballet world from the moment he was able to start working in it.
After declining prestigious schools for a ballet performance scholarship, Aly founded his first company, the Student Dance Organization for Long Island University's CW POST. This multidiscipline company was the vision of the future for ballet, where he instilled the belief that ballet dancers must be well rounded.
Aly is the co-founder of his second company, the Sierra Ballet Theater Company. After leaving, he was asked to take over as Ballet Master for several companies, but declined so he could teach ballet back home on Maui.
Aly is a Cecchetti Trained choreographer and instructor, and taught in schools with the Royal Academy of Dance curriculum, Vaganova Ballet Method, and the French System.
Aly was trained by David Howard, Finis Jung, Lindsay Chambers, Lars Rosager, Cynthia Murray, Thomas Lake, and Beth Trimm.
Since, Aly has working professionals in the ballet world and in theater all over the world, performing and warming the hearts of millions.

Ordained Minister with a Honorary Doctorate in Divitity from ULC
Starting very young, Aly learned that there were few doctors that new the needs of a dancer. After his first podiatrist appointment, he was told that he needed foot surgery and that he would never dance. Since, He has survived and conquered forty eight injuries and still dances.
In his career, he had dance partners that died from eating disorders, friends with suicide attempts, toxic relationships, unnecessary injuries, and uninformed treatments & rehabilitation.
Through research and studies, he has learned the specific dietary needs for each type of performer, physical rehabilitation, job readiness, interpersonal relationship skills, and general health awareness.
He is now respected by doctors of various specializations for his occupational and cultural expertise.

Professional Dancer
Aly started professionally as a dancer at 16 years old. Before that, his desire to dance started with his mom at home with the waltz, chacha, and the polka. He started classes at 13, started dancing professionally at 16, and was soloist for his first dance company at 18.
Credits include: Andrew Lloyd Webber's CATS, Bob Fosse's Chicago, Wizard of Oz Ballet, Nutcracker with Ballet Hawaii, Featured Dancer at the American Musical & Dramatic Academy, Company Member of the Post Concert Dance Company, Jerry Mulligan in An American in Paris, and a guest performer for various shows throughout the USA. This does not include, of course, his work in musical theater.
He found his true love in choreography, direction, and coaching, starting his first school and dance company at 19 years old.
He of course can't leave out his wonderful time dancing with Vaught Contemporary Ballet in their production of Dune (based on the books), his performances with Druid Theater Arts, and his one night shows to help struggling theaters.

Aly started his vocal training in Opera, performing guest artist work as a Baritone for various competitions. He has since moved into Musical theater and Pop where he is still performing.
